Welcome to Caffè il Remo. Our little slice of Italy at the heart of the charming coastal town of Hythe, brimming with passion, love, and authentic Italian flavours.

This family-run caffe, owned by the passionate and locally recognised wine-hero Alessandro, serves up Italian Pascucci coffee, along with lunch and light bites that include some of Italy’s most beloved treats. Enjoy freshly baked, mouth-watering focaccia, pizza, and authentic Italian sweet and savoury treats made by our talented team every week, including our favourite cannoli and crostatina and of course some of Italy’s finest wines.

Inspired by Italian Caffe bars recognised for their friendly, informal atmosphere, guests can find the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the warm hospitality of our wonderful team. This spot beautifully blends the essence of Italy with the local charm of Hythe; think Italy’s gondolas and Hythe’s serene scenic canal, a harmonious fusion of the places we love most. 

Stop by for lunch, a light bite, or coffee and sweet treat. We offer ample seating both inside and on our street-side terrace, perfect for watching the world go by.
